Gloeilampgoedkoop is an international lighting retailer offering products from a wide range of brands. With Google Ads as their main revenue driver, the challenge wasn’t just to grow, but to grow profitably.

To achieve this, we shifted the strategy from traditional ROAS to POAS (Profit on Ad Spend), giving us the ability to bid based on actual profit instead of revenue. By integrating Profit metrics directly into the campaign setup, we were able to push high-margin products and cut back on those that drained profitability.

In just the first two quarters, we scaled profit before ad spend to €823K across four markets, creating a more scalable and margin-focused approach to international growth.
